I’m a big fan of fairy tales, so when I stumbled upon ‘Cursed (Fairy Tale Reform School, 6)’, I knew I had to read it. And boy, am I glad I did! This book is everything you could want in a fairy tale – adventure, magic, and of course, a happily ever after. Plus, the characters are so lovable and relatable that you can’t help but root for them. Trust me, you won’t be able to put this book down until you’ve devoured every last page.
First up is my friend Lily. She’s not really into fantasy books, but I convinced her to give ‘Cursed’ a try. And guess what? She absolutely loved it! In fact, she couldn’t stop raving about it for days. She even said it was one of the best books she’s ever read! Now that’s high praise coming from someone who usually sticks to romance novels. Looks like ‘Cursed’ has something for everyone.
Last but definitely not least is my sister Emily. As soon as she saw the cover of ‘Cursed’, she was hooked. And once she started reading it, she was completely addicted. She finished the entire book in one sitting and then proceeded to tell me all about how much she adored it. Seriously, I think this might be her new favorite book (sorry Harry Potter). Needless to say, we’ll both be eagerly awaiting the next installment in the series!

4. Tricked (Fairy Tale Reform School 3)
I absolutely loved the latest installment of the Fairy Tale Reform School series, Tricked! I couldn’t put it down until I finished reading every last page. The plot twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. The characters were so lovable and relatable, especially Gilly. She’s definitely my favorite fairy tale reformer!
I have to say, out of all the books in this series, Tricked is by far my favorite. The writing is witty and engaging, making it impossible not to laugh out loud throughout the entire book. I also loved how seamlessly Jen Calonita weaved in all of our favorite fairy tale characters into this new story. It was like a reunion with old friends! And let’s not forget about that epic ending…I’m still reeling from it!
Me again! Just wanted to add that the illustrations in Tricked are simply stunning! They bring the story to life and add an extra layer of magic to an already enchanting tale. I also appreciate that this book is suitable for readers of all ages. Even though it’s technically a middle grade novel, anyone can pick it up and enjoy it.
